Indiana gets millions in opioid settlement

A court settlement means money for the Hoosier state. Indiana will receive $507 million as part of a multi-state agreement to settle a lawsuit against opioid distributors. Attorney General Todd Rokita says the settlement “marks a step forward in efforts to end the opioid epidemic”. The states will share about $26 billion as part of the settlement. The money will be distributed among government agencies and local governments.
