The body of a man found along the bank of the Mississinewa River has been identified. According to Grant County Coronor Stephen Dorsey, the body is that of 33-year-old Dylan J. Gillund, of Marion, and the state of Ohio.
Dorsey stated rafters found the body at approximately 4:57 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 2.
The body was taken into custody and an autopsy was completed. Dorsey stated that officials do not suspect foul play, and the investigation is ongoing, pending a toxicology examination.
The man’s cause of death remains unknown.
