Hoosiers set new sports betting record

Indiana bettors set a new record in September. Hoosiers wagered more than $355 million in sports bets last month, which resulted in $33 million in revenue, and more than $3 million in state taxes. PlayIndiana.com says it’s because football is now in full swing, as that was the most popular sport for betting. Analysts believe October could even be an even bigger month for sports betting in the state.
