A Muncie man’s goatee led to his arrest following the robbery of a local bank Wednesday.
Witnesses described the robber of the First Merchants Bank branch as having unique facial hair. The description led police to 54-year old Robert Cates of Muncie, who still had the goatee that witnesses remembered. He now faces multiple charges.
