Work to repair the historic Muncie Fieldhouse is beginning to pick up, and Muncie School officials are hopeful the nearly 100-year old facility can once again host events be sometime in 2019.
Work to repair the roof at the Fieldhouse should begin in early January and a contract has been awarded for a new hardwood floor to be installed once the roof is replaced.
The Fieldhouse was badly damaged during a storm in November of 2017 and hasn’t been used since then.
