An Indiana State Police officer and another driver were injured Wednesday morning when their vehicles collided at a rural intersection east of Marion.
State Police say 32-year old Trooper Jeremy Perez of Marion was driving his marked cruiser along Grant County Road 600 East when a pickup pulled into his path and the two vehicles collided at the intersection of road 100 North.
Trooper Perez and 70-year old Michael Herring of Keystone were both treated for minor injuries in the crash and later released from area hospitals
